Monster Island, The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster, came out around the same period as Godzilla King of the Monsters. It's about an island, Monster Island, where a monster lives.


Asylum is able to afford a big kid's meal, but it uses it wisely. The focus of the film is on a few people and its major celebrities are kept in one set. This allows them to record their sequences during lunch breaks. The (review) Asylum might not be too bad considering this is the kaiju-related genre.
